Flavia is a PhD student in Personal and Educational Sciences at the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart (UCSC) of Milan, where she also obtained a II level University Master in “Behavioural Neuroscience: Prevention, Neuroempowerment and Neurorehabilitation”. She also completed a Master degree in Clinical Psychology at Università Vita-Salute San Raffaele. From February 2024 she participates in a PRIN project focused on the psychological and neurophysiological aspects of human-robot interaction. 

She is a licensed psychologist with experience in both clinical and research settings within the field of neuropsychology and applied neuroscience. She has gained skills in neuropsychological assessments of adults and elderly and in the use of neuroscientific tools such as electroencephalogram (EEG), fNIRS, eyetracker, and autonomic measurements. Her research interests focus on Human-Technology Interaction and the application of neuroscience to well-being psychology. 

She is a member of the International Research Center for Cognitive Applied Neuroscience (IrcCAN), Faculty of Psychology, and of the Research Unit in Affective and Social Neuroscience, Department of Psychology, UCSC. She is an associated member of the Italian Association of Psychology (AIP) and a member of the Editorial Staff of the international journal Neuropsychological Trends.
